hello ppl!

hm idmc was great! heh. but their some things that really got me thinking... i like how the worship leader put it at one point. she said how it was great that there was such energy and joy during the praise and worship, and how she hopes that it wont be restricted to the fast songs, but that even for the worship songs, the energy can translate into a passion for God during worship. i guess i feel the same way. its like during all the fast, familiar songs, there is so much jumping and hype, but when it comes to unfamiliar fast songs and worship songs, there is less of that kind of response to God. its like 'passion' for only that moment. for other times, other days, u cant see the kind of fire and passion. for me, praise and worship are all responses to God. during praise, u jump and raise ur hands cos ur so full of joy because of what God has done. worship is essentially the same. so why are there differences between fast songs and slow, worship songs? i dunno, but maybe there has been too much hype in kinetic. like theres no real passion? i dunno, but maybe di was like that too in one point of time. i remember kailun once sharing that she was worried about how there may not be real passion in di. how it may be like just passion of the moment. like no real committment. apparently she went to a church like that once. then the youth kinde broke off from the main congregation. i dun really rmb what she said though. but smth along those lines. haha. but yea. if only the energy exhibited during the fast songs could translate into smth different for their worship. a change only God can bring i guess. =)

hms. been kinda sick these few days. the flu bug is going around man. so many ppl are falling sick luh. hm at least  never miss school i guess. lol. not that bad yet. xD but i never liked being sick. with the runny nose and all... haha.
