hello ppl.

whew my first post after starting school and all. so i guess its time for a detailed 'report'. xD

hm where should i start? how bout church first.
ok. so im going to faith community chuch rite now. their youth group is called kinetic. cool rite? =D hm but im kinda still getting used to it. as in not so much bout fitting in and all. its a predominantly asian church, which is why ppl go there and intro others to there i guess. yep. so its easy to fit in. no sticking out like a sore thumb just cos ur asian. but again, its not so easy to get used to. there are those pangs of homesickness u know? esp in kinetic. i guess its cos its such a far cry from what di was. in di, everyone knew everyone else, and it was alot less toned down compared to here. here, theres a whole culture change. everyone is like loud, somewhat crazy. haha. although its not so apparent during cell time, which is kinda good i guess. but yea. i really need to get used to it. but its not so bad, once i rmb that well, di is not kinetic, kinetic is not di. its 2 different things. which makes it easier cos when i start comparing the 2, thats when all the heart pain comes in. >< but yea. im changing my mindset, and it helps me too. =)
oh oh and i met a ny junior at church! amazing rite? and she went with me to taiwan last yr! xD she migrated here last yr. lol she was like i dont want to do sec 4. xD its so cool meeting someone u actually know know here! =D

hm ok school. hm u shld know by now, im taking chem, human bio, physics, geog, math and english. i just had a physics test and a bio trial test today. had chem last wk. did quite well in it managed a 90%. yay. =D most all of the subs ive covered before. so far, except for nuclear physics which im doing rite now, the topics im doing now are ones ive done before. hm its like if u study up to sec4 in sg, u pretty much have no prob coping with the syllabus here. hm... but they have a whole different way of testing. they require more thought to go into answering the ques. which is something i have to get used to. currently, i do get kinda confused sometimes. geog is the one where i need to work abit harder (although im kinda lazy... ><) i dunno... i may end up changing it to chinese... i dunno luh. >< hm but yea. exams are coming soon. 31may is my first paper. till 9june i think. somewhere round there. really need to put in some effort for math too. >< i have 10 chapters to cover! sigh. aiyah. liddat luh. yup yup.
oh and im like a year older than most yr11s! they are all like '94, while me and a few others are '93. bleh. which is kinda weird though. cos the equivalent of j1 is yr11 here. but the age is totally weird. dun geddit. aiyah. but anyway, if i go yr12, its risky cos i wont have enough scores for TEE(kinda like As). cos i think ppl will look at yr 11 scores de. though it wont affect my final score for TEE though. but yea. safer to start fr yr11. i missed 1 term alr anyway.
hm there are really alot of asians in my school. not very cure, but at least 30%. which is quite good. yep yep. theres a few other singaporeans that i know so far. oh oh and theres another girl called yin! =D damn cool cos ive never known anyone else with my name before! xD haha oh man i have so much to say! xD

aiyah shall stop about school. haha. i wish there were someone to play basketball or smth with me though. i feel super unhealthy now... >< haha.

hm ok... im currently staying in willetton. in a place super near my school. walking everyday now. 'cept for days where i have period 0s and mommy thinks its too cold to walk. haha. its like taiwan now. in terms of temp. but i tell u, i really think that ang mohs are really more resistant to cold. their like wearing shorts, super-mini skirts and all. some arent even wearing jumpers/jackets yet! o.O not used to it... xD yep yep.
hm here everything is alot more dispersed. u cant expect to find shops at ur doorstep lo. oh well. not that bad luh.

hm oh and its kinda hard to find good chinese/singaporean/asian food here. i went to 2 where it was so oily i cant take it. haha. but the good thing about being in around many asians is that u are quickly introduced to places where u can find pretty good asian food. and yea, not that bad. i do still miss s'porean food though. xD

phew. finally reached the end. xD shall stop here. still have work to do. xD
